Tithi (Lunar Day)
Only Shukla Paksha Tithis (1,2,3,5,7,10,11,13) are considered. Certain days like Chaturthi, Ashtami are avoided.
Nakshatra
Auspicious Nakshatras like Rohini, Mrigashira, Pushya, Hasta are preferred. Inauspicious ones like Bharani, Ardra are rejected.
Venus & Mercury
Venus must not be combust, and Mercury direct to ensure harmony and clear communication.
Rahukaal & Panchaka
Timings avoid Rahukaal and Panchaka, the major inauspicious windows of a day.
